Cathedral Cologne

Posted by
Nandan (Mayapur, India) on 23 December 2011 in Architecture.

Cologne Cathedral is the cathedral of light and its architecture the architecture of light. With its soaring pillars and vaults that stretch towards the heavens, this style of architecture provides space for the colossal windows that flood the cathedral interior with the ever-changing light of passing hours. The cathedral is a canvas on which sun can paste a masterpiece everyday and capture the magic of the changing seasons. Its a celebration of God's invocation "Let there be light!" . day in and day out, from sunrise to sunset, a mass of sunlight is celebrated within these walls.

I'm merely a guy who enjoys capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my everyday life. Perhaps, it's like a traveler hoping to record his memorable journey, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ... If I can record my encounters in such a way that they leave an image on the mind of myself and other viewers, it's a tremendous joy and some accomplishment...
If you could spare some time, please do give any comments, constructive criticism, tips and suggestions that will help me become a better photographer. (I understand only English and Hindi).
